Resnics Technology Invited to Present at openEuler Summit 2024

On November 15-16, openEuler Summit 2024 was successfully held at the Zhongguancun International Innovation Center in Beijing with the theme of “Intelligence for the World”. Co-organized by the openEuler community and the Global Computing Alliance, the conference aims to bring together the power of the global industry to promote continuous innovation in basic software root technology and build a new global open source ecosystem.

Mr. Tang, VP of Solutions at Resnics , delivered a keynote speech on “DPU-Programmable Networks”. Mr. Tang Jie said that the Stargate DPU smart card developed by Resnics Technology is designed with OVS acceleration as the basic function, which is oriented to device virtualization and OVS hardware acceleration in cloud computing scenarios, and achieves the encapsulation and offloading of commonly used tunneling tunnels in current cloud computing networks. As the openflow-based SDN network ecosystem matures, there will be more non-OVS-based network tunnels and customized usage scenarios. The P4 network engine is designed with user customization of network tunneling protocols in mind, especially in software-based tunneling scenarios where there is a lot of room for customization, and the P4 engine can hardware-enable different user software customizations through the P4 language, thus maintaining software flexibility and high performance at the same time.
