On June 6, 2024, the “Arithmetic Pujiang Tour” enterprise visit and exchange activity created by the “Arithmetic Pujiang” Special Committee of Shanghai Communication Association entered the domestic leading DPU and FTTR chip enterprise – Resnics Technology (Shanghai) Co. -(hereinafter referred to as “Resnics Technology”), a leading DPU and FTTR chip enterprise in China. Mr. Zheng Rongliang, Director of Shanghai Internet Exchange Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Secretary General of Shanghai Communication Association, Mr. Wei Zheng, Deputy Director of Information Communication Development Department of Shanghai Municipal Communication Administration, Mr. Huang , CEO of Resnics Technology, and representatives from Shanghai Telecom, Shanghai Mobile, Shanghai Unicom, East China Branch of China Information and Communications Technology Institute (ICTI), Shanghai Supercomputing Center, and Yueco Data, etc. totaled more than 20 people to participate in this exchange meeting.
Mr. Wei Zheng, Deputy Director of the Information and Communication Development Department of the Shanghai Communications Authority, said that the topics related to the “Arithmetic River Journey” are very much in line with the “Arithmetic River” and “Light Shine Shencheng” series of support policies and special events led by the Shanghai Communications Authority, hoping that through industry exchanges and policy guidance, we can break through the existing FTTRC and make it more efficient and effective. “It is hoped that through industry exchanges and policy guidance, the traditional business model attributes of the existing FTTR can be broken to further open the market and accelerate the increase in the number of FTTR users in Shanghai. At the same time, it is hoped that with the synergy of all parties, the scheduling efficiency of smart arithmetic will be further enhanced and the cost of user usage will be reduced.
Yiren Ronnie Huang, CEO of Resnics Technology, introduced the development of the company and gave a detailed explanation on the company’s DPU, FTTR specific segmented products, as well as cutting-edge technology solutions such as P4 network programmable, AI solutions based on RoCEv2 interconnections, and FTTR chip solutions for all-optical networks.

At the same time, he said that the state and Shanghai are vigorously promoting the rapid development of integrated circuits and smart chip industry, and Shanghai has released the “New Data Center “Arithmetic Pujiang” Action Plan (2022-2024)”, which helps to build a smart chip industry highland. To further enhance the development of Shanghai’s arithmetic industry, he put forward three ideas and suggestions, one is to actively promote the policy tilt, the current relevant policy documents pointed out to increase the support for domestic arithmetic, the future of the relevant government departments will also increase the tilt of the policy of domestic independently controllable; the second is that the domestic chip makers to strengthen the pace of independent innovation, product features, solutions and other aspects of the maintenance of innovation, to play the role of the leader, to promote high-performance chips, and to promote the development of the industry. Secondly, domestic chip manufacturers should strengthen the pace of independent innovation, maintain innovation in product features and solutions, and play a good role in promoting the actual landing of high-performance AI chips; thirdly, give full play to the role of the special committee of “Arithmetic Pujiang”, gather the industry chain of upstream, midstream and downstream enterprises, and carry out eco-cooperation, and strive to build a localized smart computing ecosystem, and contribute to the development of the Arithmetic industry.
